During 2014, both cruise arrivals and expenditure increased by twenty nine percent (29%) compared to 2013. Preliminary data has revealed that 162 cruise calls and 254,248 cruise passengers visited ports in Grenada and Carriacou contributing 28M Eastern Caribbean dollars to the economy.
The MS Serenissima visits Grenada for the first time, berthing at both St. George’s and Hillsborough on Thursday, 18th December. The 100 passenger cruise ship will berth at Melville Street Cruise Terminal from 7:00am to 6:00pm.

The Sandals Megafam on Sunday, 23rd November ended a series of thirteen mega-familiarization trips to Grenada. Starting on 4th September, over 2000 travel agents and tour operators from North America visited the island for the day for site visits of Sandals LaSource Grenada.
Condor Airlines resumed its direct flight service from Frankfurt, Germany on Saturday after three years. The ten hour flight landed in the afternoon, bringing one hundred and thirty six (136) passengers to Grenada.
