Over one hundred and ten thousand (110,000) cruise passengers arrived in Grenada during the first three months of the 2015/2016 winter cruise season, spending an estimated eleven (11) million Eastern Caribbean dollars.
(St. George’s, Grenada) 17th November, 2015 – The Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) will host an open day on Friday, 27th November from 9:00am to 3:00pm at its headquarters on the Carenage in observance of Caribbean Tourism month. The activity will allow attendees to become more acquainted with the operations of the GTA and learn about the importance of the tourism industry to Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
(St. George’s, Grenada) 10th November, 2015 – The Grenada Tourism Authority awarded Mr. Alwyn Enoe and his son, Mr. Callistus Enoe for their contributions to boatbuilding in Carriacou. The awards were presented at the pre-release film screening for Vanishing Sails on Saturday, 7th November at the Carriacou Health Services in Hillsborough, Carriacou as part of Caribbean Tourism month.

This 1083-foot cruise ship was launched and named by Her Majesty the Queen in March, and bears the Union Jack on its bow.

From 23rd October to 14th December, Grenadians can access special discounts on accommodation, meals, vehicle rentals, island tours, and dives when they register to spend two or more nights at hotels, guesthouses and apartments that are part of this year’s Staycation Promotion.
A 19-year amateur chocolate maker from Hampshire, England has beaten the best in the business to win the Great British Spiced Chocolate Challenge (GBSCC) culinary competition at Salon du Chocolat, the annual celebration of all-things-cocoa related. A panel of five expert judges named Zara Snell as the winner, and she will head to Grenada in May 2016 for Grenada Chocolate Fest.
